SHE CAN PLAY - Female Integrated Football

After two successful years piloting the program, She Can Play continues to grow in 2026, with teams now embedded within community football clubs to create more opportunities for connection, participation, and belonging.

This season, She Can Play teams will be based at:

  • Canning Vale Senior Football Club

  • Kingsway Football Club

Designed for women aged 16 and over with disability, the program provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can build confidence, develop skills, and be part of a supportive football community.

The program includes weekly training sessions, with games commencing on Saturday 9th May, giving participants the opportunity to experience match play in a structured and encouraging setting.

Games are modified to support participation and enjoyment, including:

  • No tackling

  • Shorter game times

  • Smaller oval

She Can Play focuses on:

  • Building confidence and independence

  • Developing football skills

  • Creating friendships and connection

  • Encouraging teamwork and belonging

By embedding teams within clubs, the program strengthens community ties and creates genuine pathways for long-term participation in football.
